Troubleshooting
The DCP menu says "No Cymbal Processor connected".
Check your USB connections. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your USB cable.
The Firmware Upgrade window says "No Cymbal Processor detected".
Make sure your DCP is switched on and not in Standby mode (the numeric LED's should be on).
I can open the Cymbal Processor Information window but all the fields say "unavailable".
Make sure your DCP is switched on and not in Standby mode (the numeric LED's should be on).
Each time I try to perform a firmware upgrade it fails part-way through.
Make sure you do not click on anything - windows, menus, etc. - while the upgrade is being performed. Basically, don't touch anything - just wait for it.
My DCP's numeric displays are all dark and it just sits there with the "Z" flashing.
Your DCP's application firmware has been corrupted or erased by a failed upgrade, but don't panic! The bootloader is working fine and ready for you to try the upgrade again.
